In the global landscape of children's animation, there are hundreds of shows for children everywhere — but almost nothing for a child growing up in Kerala. Kuttappan changes that.

Set in the fictional village of Thottumkara on a backwater canal, Kuttappan follows an 10-year-old boy whose plans are magnificent, whose failures are spectacular, and whose heart is the biggest thing in the village. Think Pixar's visual ambition meeting an Ammachi's kitchen — warm, funny, and unmistakably Kerala.
